What we do

One crew for everything that touches a finish

Walls, trim, cabinetry, stucco and the drywall repairs underneath, done by the same people, so the whole property ends up matching instead of nearly matching.

Why LOBOS

The parts of the job nobody talks about

Most complaints about painters have nothing to do with colour. They come from the prep, the protection and the clean-up. So here is exactly what we do about each of them.

A LOBOS painter masking upper cabinets with plastic sheeting before spraying
  • 01

Preparation is the majority of the job

Washing, sanding, patching, texture matching, caulking and priming take more of our hours than applying finish does. It is the part you never see once the furniture goes back, and it is what decides whether the job still looks right in year five.

  • 02

    Protection before anything is opened

Furniture moved and wrapped, floors papered wall to wall, fixtures and hardware removed or masked, doorways sealed against sanding dust, landscaping and hardscape covered on exteriors.

  • 03

Finishes applied the way the surface requires

Cabinet doors numbered, removed and sprayed flat so the film lays even. Walls cut in by hand where surfaces meet. Coatings specified for the substrate and the exposure, not for whatever is on the truck.

  • 04

An itemised scope, not a lump sum

Your estimate separates repair from coating and lists the system and number of coats. You can compare it against another bid line for line, and you know what you are paying for.

  • 05

Communication you don't have to chase

One point of contact for the schedule and the updates. If something changes, whether weather, a substrate surprise or a delivery, you hear it from us before you notice it.

  • 06

    Clean sites, daily

The work zone is swept and staged at the end of every working day, and material is hauled out rather than stacked in your garage until the end of the job.

  • 07

A final walkthrough that means something

We walk the finished job with you and correct what you flag on the same visit. A punch list closed on one mobilisation is cheaper for us and better for you.

Before & after

Drag to see the difference

Cabinets in primer with the floor fully papered, then the finished kitchen with warm stained runs and a custom navy island.

Same kitchen, same boxes, same layout. What changed is the finish and the preparation underneath it, which is the entire argument for refinishing cabinetry rather than replacing it.

  2. 02

    Property walkthrough

We look at the actual surfaces and the actual conditions.

Itemised scope, so you can see what is and isn't included.

  4. 04

    Protection, preparation and painting

Most of the hours go in before the finish coat.

  5. 05

    Final walkthrough

We walk it with you before the truck is loaded.

Two ways we work

A home and a business need different things from a painter

The finish standard is the same. Everything around it is not: protection, scheduling, communication, site rules.

For homeowners

Painting a house that people are living in

Almost all of our residential work happens in occupied homes. That changes how the job has to be run, not just how it's finished.

  • Furniture moved and wrapped, floors covered wall to wall before anything opens
  • Work zone sectioned off, doorways sealed so sanding dust stays where the work is
  • Kitchen and at least one bathroom kept usable throughout
  • Colour and sheen guidance room by room, and samples where the finish justifies it
  • Cabinet doors sprayed off the boxes so you keep your kitchen
  • Site swept and staged at the end of each day, not the end of the job

For businesses and property managers

Painting a property that has to keep operating

Commercial work is a coordination problem before it is a painting problem. The scope has to be approvable, the access window has to be real, and the site has to be usable at the end of every shift.

  • Nights, early mornings, weekends and phased zone-by-zone scheduling
  • Written scope itemised by area and surface, with the coating system stated
  • Work areas barricaded and signed; walkways kept clear
  • Building rules respected: badge-in, dock windows, alarm procedures, tenant notice
  • Coatings specified for the traffic the surface actually takes
  • One point of contact for schedule and updates

Where we work

Serving the Phoenix metro and the rest of Arizona

We’re based in Phoenix and cover the state. 20 cities have a page of their own, from Scottsdale and Mesa out to Buckeye, Surprise and Goodyear, because a Gilbert builder-grade repaint and a Scottsdale fine-finish project are not the same job. Everywhere else in Arizona, from Tonopah to Tucson, we simply come.

Town not listed? It just doesn’t have a page yet. The Phoenix metro is our daily service area. We take work throughout Arizona beyond it, where travel affects scheduling rather than whether we come.

Questions

Before you call

The answers people actually want before they let a contractor into their house. Anything not covered here, ask on the walkthrough.

All frequently asked questions
Do you provide free painting estimates?

Yes. The walkthrough and the written estimate are free, and the number on the estimate is the number you pay unless the scope changes.

We don't quote over the phone. A price given without seeing the surfaces is a price that moves later.

Are you licensed and insured in Arizona?

Yes. Licensed, bonded and insured in Arizona under AZ ROC #364076.

We provide the certificate of insurance with your estimate, and we can send it directly to your HOA or property management company if they need it on file.

Do you handle both residential and commercial projects?

Yes. Residential interiors and exteriors, cabinetry and fine finishes on one side; storefronts, offices, restaurants, multi-unit buildings and tenant improvements on the other.

Commercial work is scheduled around your operating hours, including nights and weekends.

What preparation is included?

Protection first: furniture moved and wrapped, floors covered, fixtures masked or removed, landscaping and hardscape protected on exteriors.

Then surface work: washing, sanding and de-glossing, patching and texture matching, caulking joints and penetrations, and priming where the substrate, the repairs or the colour change require it.

Preparation is itemised in your estimate, separate from the coating, so you can see exactly what it includes.

How long does a typical project take?

A single interior room is usually a day. A full interior typically runs three to five days. Cabinet refinishing usually runs four to seven days, driven by cure time between coats rather than labour hours.

Exteriors depend on the size of the property and how much repair the stucco or block needs. Your written estimate includes the expected schedule.

Do we need to leave the house during interior painting?

Almost never. We work in occupied homes constantly. The work area is sectioned off and protected, and your kitchen and at least one bathroom stay usable.

For cabinet refinishing we can spray doors and drawer fronts off the property, so you keep the kitchen through most of the project.

Which Arizona areas do you serve?

All of them. We are based in Phoenix, and the Valley is our daily service area: Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, Avondale, Litchfield Park, Buckeye, Queen Creek, Apache Junction, Fountain Hills, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, Anthem and Sun City, out through Tonopah, Rainbow Valley, Wittmann, Waddell, Tolleson, El Mirage, San Tan Valley, Maricopa and Casa Grande.

Beyond the metro we take work statewide, including Tucson, Prescott, Flagstaff, Sedona, Payson, Yuma and Lake Havasu City. Travel affects scheduling on those, not whether we come, so ask early rather than assuming the answer is no.

Can you work around our business operating hours?

Yes. Nights, early mornings, weekends and phased zone-by-zone work are all normal for our commercial scopes.

Tell us the hours you cannot be disrupted and we will build the schedule around them.
